Conceptualization & DESIGN DECISIONS

  • With the collectible sneaker community spread so thin across multiple internet platforms, this interface consolidates all those spaces into one where users can socialize, buy, sell and shop.
  • The primarily red and black color palette is reminiscent of some of the most iconic shoes of all time. Coupled with the elephant print pattern around the outside, it helps resonate with the targeted community.
  • The original interface remained relatively unchanged however, a few notable alterations would be the different pages and their accompanying icons as well as the “like” button changed from a heart to a flame and renaming it “hype”. Hype is a common term in the sneaker community and It better suits the overall concept.
